Saskatchewan Roughriders’ New Plan Boosts Ticket Sales & Retention

COVID-19 created an unprecedented financial challenge for sports leagues and franchises, especially in the Canadian Football League (CFL), where 50% of the revenue comes from ticket sales. In response to this challenge, the Roughriders partnered with their ticket operations and sales team to create a task force to develop The MVP Plan.

The MVP Plan, a three-year effort, uses Roughrider’s SSB data warehouse and integrations to create segments and target their most valuable fans. Since The MVP Plan launched in December 2020, the task force has already exceeded its key performance indicators (KPIs) including ticket sales and net revenue goals.
